“ An overdue review for a restaurant that my family regularly orders take out. The food is consistently good. The service is meh but efficient. Order your food, pay and served efficiently. The restaurant space is small so we have never actually dined inside because we order takeout. They also have a few tables outside for outdoor dining but again nothing fancy. I don't see patrons eating inside often but more to go orders - like myself, we order take and enjoy our food at home. Highly recommended for good Chinese food! ”

“ I've been dining at and ordering takeout from Phoenix for years and it has never disappointed. Their best item would have to be the garlic chicken wings because the way they cook it crispy and season it with a lot of flavor. I also really like their beef chow fun because the beef is cooked really well to a point it's still pretty tender without drying out. The shrimp fried rice and seafood hot pot are also excellent as well. It's not the cheapest place to dine at but the portions are pretty generous. You won't get a lot of vegetable fillers in the beef chow fun and shrimp fried rice, for example. You'll feel like your dollar went pretty far with the amount of protein you get. They definitely add MSG to a lot of their dishes, which is something I'm not against and I admit I use this a lot myself when I cook my own food. I haven't tried a ton of their desserts because I'm not a big durian fan. I did try their mango mochi balls once and thought they were enjoyable - a little soft yet chewy, but not the freshest. It's a good snack, but in the SGV there's so many options to choose from for dessert that it's hard to stand out. ”
